We cordially invite you to the opening of the retrospective exhibition “Torsos” by the glass artist Gizela Šabóková, which will take place in Prague’s Nová síň from April 28 to May 19 on the occasion of the author’s life anniversary. It will also be her first solo exhibition in the Czech Republic in almost twenty years. The exhibition opening will take place on April 27 at 5 PM.
The exhibition will not only look back on the creative life of Gizela Šabóková, but also a harbinger of her upcoming biography, which will be published this autumn.”Although the durability of the expression of many of her sculptures does not depend only on the effect of glass, the strength of her expression would undoubtedly be pronounced if processed into another material.
